sometimes when i’m feeling down, i like to put on the new demi lovato record (more specifically “remember december” and “u got nothin’ on me”) and dance around in my room like i don’t realize that the 10 year olds next door are judging me more than my parents are.
Well those are good I think I have ten things of my own.
- “GET A REAL JOB IS WHAT THEY SAID TO ME”
Don’t go to that show. Go be a doctor.
- “YOU SHOULD TRY SAYING NO ONCE IN A WHILE”
No one will care as much about you as you care about yourself (except your mother, stop fighting with her so much), take care of yourself. Be selfish once in a while. Get some sleep, put down the coffee, don’t drink, don’t do drugs, eat better, and would it kill you to exercise once in a while?
- “VIENNA WAITS FOR YOU”
You have all the time in the world to do everything you want to do. You’re not old. Don’t judge your progress based on others because a lot of them are secretly saying the exact same thing as you.
- “JUST DANCE!”
Never miss the opportunity to dance on a bar, dance in a crowd, dance with a boy, dance with a girl. Just dance, seriously!
- “CAUSE I DON’T BREAK HEARTS, I JUST DENT THEM.”
Never break rules or break hearts. Just bend them a bit. Never burn bridges, you may need to take that route again.
- “YOU’RE THE KIND OF GIRL TO TAKE HOME TO MOM, IF MY MOMMA WAS DEAD.”
Keep your reputation.Flirt, don’t kiss. Don’t go back to the hotel. Don’t hang out on the bus. Wear pants.Those rules are made to be broken, just keep your reputation, have some fucking morals, and don’t associate with whores.
- “IT’S TRUE ROMANCE IS DEAD, I SHOT IT IN THE CHEST & IN THE HEAD.”
This is not The Notebook. You should never feel like you’re in some epic love story. This is real life and shit is not supposed to be this difficult. Don’t let it be.

Take a deep breath, everything will be okay, and if it’s not for as long as you’re still alive there’s another opportunity to turn it all around.

Have at least one friend you can tell everything to. It’ll make life so much easier.

i have been awake since 12am, roughly. fell asleep accidentally this afternoon and didn’t wake up after the normal “nap.” when i can’t sleep, i usually wind up searching jimmy eat world on youtube to see what i can find. today, i found this gem. ”always be” featuring hayley williams.
have i ever mentioned how much i absolutely love this band? gawsh.
